The Photron FASTCAM SA-Z is the most light sensitive traditional high speed camera on the planet. It provides megapixel image resolution at frame rates up to 21,000 frames per second (fps), over 2 million fps at reduced image resolution, and shutter speeds as short as 159 nanoseconds. An innovative camera body design exploiting heat-pipe technology provides a thermally stable and low noise image. Available in 12-bit monochrome or 36-bit color versions with recording memory options from 8GB to 128GB, the FASTCAM SA-Z offers versatility of use in a wide range of scientific and industrial applications.
The optional FASTDrive removable SSD drive permits high-speed transfer of image data from camera which enables repeat recordings to be made in quick succession without the delay.
